The Richardson table lamp comes in a bronze finish with a red and bell shade.Add a bit of whimsy to any room with Hunter’s Richardson table lamp. Part organic sculpture, part nod to Dr. Seuss, this fun piece features a curving bronze-finish support post with three scrolling branches and a matching coiled top finial. The deep red bell-shaped shade mimics the motif with lighter amber etches of looping, arching twirls. This lamp measures 16 inches in diameter by 30 inches high; it takes one three-way 150-watt bulb. Pair it with the matching floor model to complete the look. –Kara Karll…
Upgrading your home outdoor lighting is a surefire way to increase your home’s curb appeal and market value. And a well-lit lawn can also deter potential burglars. Most of all, in one’s home adds a welcoming touch for family and guests. Here you can learn about exterior lighting trends, common problems and their solutions, lighting and things to consider when choosing outdoor lighting fixtures.
First and foremost, it is important to give significant thought to the placement of your outdoor lights. Just like you would not add more fixtures as table lamps or wall sconces in a single area in your living room, do not you want to place the external fixtures too close to each other either. This is a common problem when integrating path lights in your outdoor lighting solution. Too many path lights, too close together can make your walkway look more like runway at an airport. Instead of placing the lights across from each other at each end, try a gradual approach. Light will flow less harshly.
Another common mistake in selecting outdoor lights is to find the right lighting direction, or to limit “light pollution”. Outdoor lights should not impede vision or impede to see the entire landscape of a farm or area clear. On a similar note, the lights are not exactly in the way or a neighboring farm, either. To avoid such problems, look for lamps with glare guards.
Just that it would be sad to find the exact same light in every room of their home, it is sad to see the outdoor lighting fixture is repeated throughout the yard. It can make your home appear institutional as opposed to personal. Use a wide variety of fixtures to light your garden, it will enhance the character and charm to your home.
Be careful to balance your home exterior lighting. Another common mistake in the exterior lighting placement, is to inadvertently share the yard by placing too many lights in one area and not enough in another. You want to distribute light across the screen in your home. You do not want your garden looks like a parking lot.
Finally, as most of the interior, less is more. Outdoor lighting should draw attention to the beautiful and unique features of your home. It should not be intrusive. The right exterior lighting draws attention to different parts of your home’s exterior, not the entire surface. Over lighting is never attractive indoor or outdoor.

I am trying to get some info. I purchased 2(2packs) of your landscape lights(Mod # LV11760) to replace 4 cheap Malibu lights. They served their time well, but I wanted a better looking light, that is why I chose your lights. The problem I have is the light bulbs burned out after only 3 weeks of use. Is this the nature of these lights if so what do you suggest to fix the problem. The lights in the Malibu lasted at least 3/4 months.
Thank you

I recently bought six Portfolio low voltage lamps and a 200watt transformer with a dusk to dawn feature. I installed them on my father in laws handicap ramp, they work great. Do you make a motion dectector for the low voltage or transformer system. I would like to put one at the top of the ramp and another at the bottom. Lamp model #228641
Please let me know if you can help me with this, Thanks Roy
I recently purchased and installed an outdoor wall lantern with motion sensor for my front porch. It worked fine for several weeks, but now it doesn’t. I checked for loose wires and found none. I can hear the controller clicking, but the light doesn’t come on. I also checked the bulb, and it is good. Any suggestions? The model # is 0329565. I have two more over my garage and they are working great.
I recently purchased and installed three outdoor wall lanterns #0329565 Dusk to Dawn with motion sensors. The two over my garage work great, but the one on my porch quit working after a few weeks.
I checked for loose wires and found none, and the light bulb is fine. I can hear a clicking sound from the controller, but nothing works. Any suggestions?
Today we purchased 16 Portfolio outdoor low voltage landscape lights, model 00906 and 00907. All the lights worked when we first turned them on. Within 1 hour 6 of the lights were burned out. We replaced Malibu lights and the Malibu lights worked for almost 3 months. Is this normal? What do you suggest to fix the problem?
I have five outside lamp posts. Three of which are installed right now. The lights have been getting water in them, which burns out the bulbs. These bulbs are not cheap, I’ve gone through 9 bulbs to date. What can I do to stop the water from getting into the lights? Also two of the photo eyes have burnt out. I bought a photo eye and tried to replace it but it was to large to work in my three bulb lamp. Can I get two replacement photo eyes.
Thank You Bill
