Professional artisans craft Moroccan lighting. The tradition of handmade lamps and lanterns, going back centuries and the process used today is very similar to the process used for hundreds of years ago. True Moroccan home lighting is not done on a production line, which only adds to its charm. You will not find “clones” of these lights. Each one is unique because each one is made with love of the craft.
Home Lighting: 3 elements of distinctive Moroccan Creation
Moroccan lamps with Henna Tattoo: Henna tattoo done on goatskin or sheepskin that is stretched over a frame. Craftsman frame work of metal and filigree and artists decorate them with henna. No two pieces are alike. Even those who are made to match slightly different from each other mainly because you can not find stencil work on the Moroccan lanterns. Lines and curves as exciting designs that twist and power around the original works. When you purchase these exquisite pieces, one can not but think of the people who made them. The creators are a part of the charm of henna tattoos, lamps and lanterns long after they leave their hands.
Moroccan lamps with stained glass: Stained glass lampshades and lighting gives a warm glow to the interior or exterior of a well decorated home. The earthy tones of brown, red, orange, yellow, green and deep blues are often combined to create exclusive colors make them a festive treat for the eyes. The stained glass can be pieced together from metal frames or is formed into long, curving wave-like lamps.
It can be placed in the hanging chandeliers, large and small sconces, and table or floor lamps of different heights. The star lights Morocco is particularly impressive when the light filters through the stained glass to add a dimension of romance and exotic allure.
Moroccan lamps Metal: The metal is stamped and formed into patterned pieces. Wrought iron, brass and silver are common metals used in Moroccan home lighting. The filigree is intricate and provides the perfect showcase for the light to shine through and threw themselves over small or large areas. For special effects, the metal is often “antiqued” to add extra texture. The larger lanterns made exclusively of metal is particularly impressive when placed on patios and at entrances to residences.
Professional and amateur decorators both recognize that a proper and decorative use of lighting is required to pull together a great design. A few well-placed pieces of Moroccan home lighting can turn something that is nice to something stunningly beautiful.
The one-of-a-kind fixtures suitable for open curiosity and conversation. Family and friends will enjoy the atmosphere. Do not settle for anything less than the best. Illuminate the interior of your home with Moroccan home lighting.

I fell in love with Moroccan decor after a brief vacation that I got to take in that country. It is an excellent combination of exotic luxury and lively color. We have a sun lounge that has largely been unused because I haven’t figured out how to furnish and decorate it, until now. I appreciate the advice that you give about Moroccan lanterns and lamps because I am trying to figure out how to add lighting, whether by lamps or by candles. I may actually do both.
